Anubad.net invites applications from young culture enthusiasts belonging to various indigenous communities in Sylhet division for a five-day non-residential workshop focused on community-based documentation and safeguarding of living heritage.

Jointly launched by UNESCO Dhaka and the International Training Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region (CRIHAP) in partnership with anubad.net, the workshop aims to create a pool of culture enthusiasts who, irrespective of their professional obligations, will continue to promote and safeguard their living heritage, aka intangible cultural heritage (ICH), through proper documentation.

While it seeks to explain the concept of ICH inventorying in layman’s terms, it also aims to raise awareness within the indigenous communities about the utmost importance of heritage preservation through inventorying.
